This is another post in my End User Support series. Number sequences in AX are used to provide unique identifiers for everything in the system from Sales Order numbers to batch sequences. Normally when AX is first installed these are setup so that they should last many years. However, changes in business or new customization's can change the rate at which these numbers get used.
