To pass default value to parameter using SSRS Class in axapta 2012 you can override method prePromptModifyContract in controller class then initialize contract class variable then you can pass value using contract class method calling.

How to rename an Object in VisualStudio[Dynamics365/AX7]
Hi Folks,
Many times we need to duplicate an standard object and do the required changes and system gives warning while rename. Same caused error during project build.
Problem: While renaming any object in Visual studio project system throw below warning
“Some of the files you are renaming or moving will be located outside of the project's binding root. The item(s) <objectName>.xml will not be source controlled if you continue with this rename.”
If you just continue with change , you may get errors while project/solution build.
Possible reason: If you are using TFS and this new object are not added to source code you’' will get this error.
Suggest Solution: Add this new object in Source control by right click on object and select “Add file to source control”
Now you should be able to rename it.
This works for me perfectly. If you got some other solution to fix this issue plz keep share your feedback or links to other posts.

Ok, so maybe this isn't TRULY an AX word, but anyone who has ever used an AX demo environment has seen the word Contoso.
Contoso is the Microsoft demo company that is used to show the functionality of AX. It's not just limited to AX though. You may see Contoso pop up in other products as well! Contoso is a very diverse company. It sells everything from HDMI cables to orange juice. And if you visit their website, www.contoso.com, you might be redirected to another large corporation's official website.
So, if you've ever been like me and laughed at some of the crazy names (looking at you, Julia Funderburk) or found @AliciaContoso on Twitter, you may have spent too much time in an AX demo environment.
If you're wondering what in the world I am talking about, spin up a demo AX environment and give it a whirl. I have learned so much about the functionality of AX just by creating a demo environment and playing around. It's a great experience and the worst thing that can happen is that you find some unknown AX functionality that helps a coworker do their job more efficiently. It's really hard to break a demo environment, and you won't have to explain that one to your boss if you do break it. Have fun!

How to set email notification for Workflow in Dynamics 365 for Operation
The emails notification will not be send if email template will not be set up on the workflow configuration:
Depend on if the workflow is global or company related there are different ways you need to set it up:
- For the company related workflow you need to set it up in: Organization administration > Setup > Email templates
- For the global workflow you need to set it up in: System administration > Setup > Email > Email messages
